Which of the following is NOT a renewable energy source?

Hydro

Solar

Fossil Fuel

Renewable energy sources are those that can be replenished naturally and quickly enough to meet our ongoing needs. Hydro, solar, and wind all rely on natural, ongoing processes—water flow, sunlight, and air movement—that we can tap repeatedly without running out on human timescales. Fossil fuels, on the other hand, come from ancient organic material that formed over millions of years. Once we burn them, they’re not regenerated quickly enough to replace what we use, so they’re non-renewable. That’s why fossil fuels are the correct choice for what isn’t renewable.
